Works, but...

(3 out of 5) by Nathaniel Firethorn on Nov 21, 2005 (Exit 8A, New Jersey)
I bought two of these when I got DSL. The filter does indeed filter. But it is difficult to install (I had to pound on top to get it to lock in place), and it doesn't look nice -- imagine sticking a somewhat-used bar of soap between your phone and the wall mount. It wobbles a bit, too.

Doesn't fit standard wall mount

Avoid since it doesn't fit standard wall mount both in height and depth of mounts. Use in-line phone filter such as Linksys BA2LF instead.

Not Exactly What I Needed

(3 out of 5) by Poppy J on Mar 11, 2007 (Gresham, OR USA)
Measurements of the unit would have helped me in my selection. I was able to use this item with a utility knife and file. The phone filter itself works very well.

Not worth the money

(2 out of 5) by A. Cross on Nov 19, 2006 (Colorado USA)
The design of the back interface for the existing wall plate is poor. I needed to make minor modifications to the plastic so that it would fit on a standard metal wall plate. The design of the front interface for the telephone is very poor. My telephone did not fit on it without making major modifications to the plastic front interface. I looked all over for a different aDSL wall mount for my telephone, but when I could not find one, I made the modifications.

Works fine

(4 out of 5) by D. Stromberg on Mar 20, 2006
I bought one of these a while ago when I first got DSL. I've had no problems with it. Yes, it's a little thicker than I'd like, but it's really not bad. I needed to buy a couple more for new phone lines that I'm installing, and I have no problem using these filters again.
