don't plan on cleaning your pc devices with this product
I saw nothing in the literature at the Amazon site that stated this product was not meant for use on devices installed in a pc. That's where I intended to use it, and so, I was very disappointed that when I inserted it into the Phillips DVD/CD +RW in my Dell pc nothing happened! I tried it in the second drive, a DVD-Rom player and again - nothing.
I thought perhaps it was Windows Media Player and so I tried Yahoo Music Jukebox and that failed to produce any recognition of the CD. I tried Quick Time and Real Player and MusicMatchJukebox. Nothing.
I wrote Memorex asking for advice. In their email reply they said "To answer to your question this unit only should be use on stand aloneDVD/CD players it is not recommended to be use on DVD/CD burners or combocomputer drives if the device its not working properly we can replace itfree of charge you just need to fill our warranty replacement form andspecify the product." Excellent answer. I'll pass.
In conclusion, if you intend to use this on your pc, pick something else. I will say that Amazon was very positive in their response to my dissatisfaction and immediately allowed me to print a return label. Also, they picked up the cost of return shipping. Thank you, Amazon! Because I have used a Phillips lense cleaning cd successfully on my pc before, I will look for another from that company.

Gets the job done
Most lens cleaners are the same, so for the price, this does the trick just fine.

works great
I 've got a PS2 and is was playing like crap. not reading disks and skipping from the slightest blemish on a CD. so, I bought this Laser lens claener thinking that at the very wost it doesn't work and i'm only out a couple bucks. To my amazement it worked great! cleaned the lens off, went through the sound check (which I didn't need, but was cool to see anyway) and I was on my way to watch movies with no more skipping!! I totally recommend it.

Worked Great!
This worked wonders for my DVD Player. All of a sudden any DVD I played started skipping around 30 minutes into the DVD. I knew the problem was with the player, so I started looking around for new ones. I decided to try this first since it was only a few dollars as opposed to a few hundred for a player. I'm so glad I did. DVDs are playing correctly now and I have this if any of my other laser based electronics start acting up.

No problem
Not spectacular, just works honestly. Comparing to other brands, it seems to be a very good bargain.
