Absolutely the Best!!!

This saves time and battery life. Use it over again and again- just like a floppy disk drive. Buy Sony original products and you'll be safe- don't save a few pennies by buying generics, you get what you pay for. Recommendation: Strong Buy

Not for a floppy drive but...laptops OK

This is NOT to be used as a floppy drive, OSNY makes the MSAC-FD2M for that purpose. Thi sis only for notebooks and laptop, you can save at least $30 or more if you get the Sony MSAC-PC2 which is basically the same in black instead of the new silver color and cost a heck of a lot less!

The MSAC-PC3 works just as good as the MSAC-PC2 I guess is just marketing, to come with new colors...! Anyhow speed is good just like my old sony one, if you already own a MSAC-PC3 save your money, becuase you get the same item in a new dress.

Othewise the connectivity and speed is as expected just be aware of memory stick compatibility with the adapters and do some research on new magic gate and other brnads like Lexar and third party compatibility. Enjoy.
