Best corded earpiece I've bought

(5 out of 5) by Landy P. Peterson on Dec 5, 2009
Yes, this corded cell phone headset is larger then those hang-on-your-ear types but it sure works better. I can hear good on this thing and when I talk the person on the other side they can hear good too. I don't know about duribilty yet haven't had it that long. I use it at the house for long conversations or in my truck when I think I'm going to be on long. In the truck I use my visor bluetooth for quick yes or no conversations or "what time" answers other then that I plug this thing into the cell. I've had Bluetooth stuff before and it was also lousy performance. I really like this Panasonic Corded Headset.

Awesome headset!

I have used MANY headsets over the years, and keep coming back to this one! I use one at the office, and keep one in my car. The sound quality is better than most of the fancier, pricier headsets out there. I appreciate the lack of a volume control on the cord - in my opinion, the only thing a "volume control" accomplishes is to decrease the sound output on the headset. Most phones have a volume control anyway, so this is one "feature" I do not need or want.

OK, the downside to this headset is that it breaks after a year or two. The plastic snaps at it's weakest point, along the height adjustment section, on the earpiece side. Fortunately, the price is low enough to replace it every two years, but I really wish I didn't need to do this!

excellent buy

I bought this and in the back of my mind was wondering if I should have spent more. Well I am glad I didn't. This headset is fantastic. You can hear well and people can hear you very well. I purchased this with the panasonic cordless phone and the phone has the features I need. So the headset can simply work and not get mixed up by trying to add features to it. Trust me make this headset the one you should purchse. You'll save money, and 9 times out of 10 the phone you have/puchase will have the features you need.

second to none

I have been using this headset for three years, eight hours a day and it has been great. The problem I started to encounter was static in the mike from too much dust. I tried blowing it out which worked but it was finally time to replace them. I bought a Plantronics M214C and tried it out. The quality was poor. The high frequency hiss is horrible and the volume is much lower. I went out to a few different locations and bought a GE and a Jenson JTH940 which were even worse. It seems the market has all but ignored people who use landline phones for work. I am buying two this time and should be good for at least half a decade.

Wow! I'm so glad we got this!

I thought it was going to be kinda hokey, but this is really useful! I wear it while I'm cooking and doing other things requiring two hands. My husband is using it for his ordering for work. Our 4 year old son even dropped it and I managed to step on it..but besides the soft ear covering falling off...it was fine! I slipped the cover back on and it was as good as new! Awesome little pice of equipment!
