Perfect install in less than 10 minutes
I have a 1999 Pentium III, 500 mhz Gateway running Windows XP with service pack 2. I wanted USB 2.0 for my camera and firewire for an external hard drive. I'm planning on getting DSL soon so I eventually needed a network card. Originally I was looking at USB 2.0/firewire cards. Then I found the Siig for about the same price or even less and it included the network card. It is a great value
Installation was typical for a PCI card. Then I plugged everything back in and turned it on. In a few minutes a pop-up window said new hardware detected and moments later it told me the drivers were updated and I was ready to go. I didn't even have to reboot! I didn't need the enclosed driver cd. Windows XP did the work for me.
Everything is working great. This install did not affect anything else on my computer. I am pleased with the ease of installation, price, and combination of ports. It simply does what it's supposed to do.

Unstable Firewire
My system used to have a 3-port Firewire PCI card, a 4-port USB card, and an Ethernet card. I ran out of slots for other things and this card seemed like the perfect way to consolidate.
I've been using this card for about a week. I've had no problems with the USB or Ethernet connections. However, the Firewire connection is very unstable. I am constantly having dropped connections, buffer overloads, etc. To make sure it wasn't my devices or cabling, I replaced my firewire connections into my old Firewire PCI card. The issues promptly went away. Maybe I just got a bum card, but what I ordered was a 3-in-1 and what I got is a 2-in-1.

Works PERFECTLY with Windows XP !!!!!
I'm running Windows XP Pro SP2, and I needed a firewire card but had run out of slots. I was able to replace a USB card and an ethernet card with this, now I have everthing I need +firewire, and I have an extra slot!
My installation was unbelievably simple. My WinXP did not even ask for drivers or anything else, and it did not even require a reboot, suddenly the network was there, the USB devices were there -- Everything just works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The reviewer who had the bad installation experience, hmmmmm don't know what to say, probably their system was not up-to-date or was borderline unstable prior to installation (as is the case with SO many people I know -- thier PCs are unstable, not the people!)

Easy as pie, and cooler looking.
Uh, I popped it in and had it working in 10 minutes. It's been doing what it was designed to without fail since (about a month now). I like it, I'm sure you will too.
You need this card
This ethernet combo card was the best investment I've made to my older PC yet! I've been stuck with USB 1.0 for long enough and I did not have an empty slot! So, I replaced my ethernet card with the SIIG JU-2NE012 and turned on my PC. That is it! Windows found the card and all is well. If you are in the same position as me, go for it; you will thank yourself!
