(1 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Dec 21, 2003We have had this system for 3 weeks, and nothing but trouble....will not play rented vidoes (will freeze up or skip), remote will not work, no matter how many new batteries you put in & how you aim it...and the speakers do not work properly...we have hooked them up every which way, and can not get them to work properly. And yes, the clicking is a little bit annoying!
Good basic (entry level) unit

It works very well as a DVD and plays MP3 and cd's very well, except for the annoying hiss from the rear speakers in any mode except DVD. The unit also has AM/FM reciever with huge number of pre-sets in both modes. Unfortunately, the antennaes enclosed do not do even a decent job. (I get better reception on a $5.00 clock-radio.)
