Great deal!

Obviously if you don't have a CD-RW drive capable of rewriting faster than 12X don't bother with these media, but if you do, this is the best deal around. From Verbatim no less, at a great price. It may not be 700MB media, but you get 10 CD-RWs!

Ummmm....

Very few non computer CD players play CD-RWs... please ignore the "WARNING: VERBATIM CD-RWs WILL NOT PLAY IN CAR STEREO!!!" review, because this is not a problem with Verbatim CD-RWs, because it's their CD player that's not compatable. If you have a CD player that reads CD-RWs, this product WILL still work. []

BEWARE! Will not work in many burners!

(2 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Sep 24, 2003
Amazon doesn't state this, but this will NOT work in any burners which are slower than 16x burn speed! I ended up eating eight bucks on shipping as a result. I'm sure the discs are quality, Verbatim's never let me down, but buyer beware -- don't get these if you don't have a high speed drive, they'll be useless to you!

WARNING: VERBATIM CD-RWs WILL NOT PLAY IN CAR STEREO!!!

(1 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Feb 7, 2003
I bought a set of Verbatim 700MB Cool Color CD-RWs at my local computer store and was surprised to find that they do not play in my car stereo or home theather system. They will only play on a computer, and why do you need to burn a CD for that when you can listen to MP3 files? The rep at the computer store confirmed that some CD-RWs aren't compatible with regular stereos. Luckily, the computer store has agreed to return them but don't make the same mistake...
