Lasted only 8 months!

(1 out of 5) by Jennifer A. Bush on May 5, 2007
This was a fairly good phone for the first 8 months we owned it.

Clarity was exceptionally good.

We wish the volume was better - expecially with a headset plugged in. Because of my job I have my hearing tested anually by the department of defense and know that the problem is indeed with the phone and not me.

The phone now does not work reliably. The headset intermittently shuts down mid-call without warning. We often get beeps with an "AT&T G24" advisory flashing in the display along with a flashing blue light - it would seem that the handset now has problems communicating with the base. Pretty dissapointing for a product that was and still is so expensive!

No big improvement

(4 out of 5) by A. Garrison on Nov 10, 2006
We bought this phone to replace a staticky earlier model. It behaved just as badly in the same outlet as the earlier one, so we moved it to another room where it's fairly static-free. In other respects, it is an improvement: more features, and the sound is noticeably better. But it is still as vulnerable to static in certain settings as the old one.
