Get more than you pay for

Well Worth the Money

The other reviews sold me and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The battery is large but not very heavy and its silver color matches the camcorder. The real test is how well it holds its charge. This why I give it 5 stars. You won't be disappointed. It is probably best to fully charge and then fully discharge the battery once before use. When I did so, I ended up having to leave the camcorder on overnight with the LCD screen lit, since it took longer than four hours to fully discharge and by then it was bedtime.
I have used the camcorder four times since this purchase, and the battery holds up very, very well. My guess is that it will hold its charge at least 4 times longer than a new original Canon BP-522. Look no further, as the price and performance are great.

Replacement battery

The old batteries had gotten to the point where they would hold a charge for only 5-10 minutes. We've only used this battery once on a trip across the country, but I don't think we had to recharge it once. We don't video that much, so I can't say how long it would last if in use the whole time, but it met our needs wonderfully.

Works as expected.

Went to Amazon.com, typed in what I was looking for and there it was. Seemed to easy and inexpensive but picked it up and it works great so far. No complaints.
