Good quality in its class

(5 out of 5) by Jung Oh on Dec 16, 2008 (Mission, Texas)
I think you do not expect its high quality sound and free distortion from this small, but good speaker pairs. It is good in its class in such low price. There are very weak low frequency harmonic wave that we can expect most speakers in this class without exception. Slightly trembling sound at high frequency that show its unstable frequency response that are very common in this class speaker. But overall very clean sound in artificial effect as we saw many low cost speaker.
With such low price about $10, it is good for lecture or speaking for large room or contempoary music rather than enjoying classic music.

For this pirce...

For this price, you can't go wrong. I wanted some outdoor speakers to mount in the eves around my patio. They had to sound good and be cheap if they get totaled by the weather. These speakers fit the bill. They seem fairly rugged and, as an added bonus, they came with a mounting bracket. The sound is good. I don't crank them up too much because I don't want to piss off the neighbors, so at the levels I run them I do not hear any distortion. Base is ok but not great, I would say that it is in line with the price point. They have not been winter tested yet but I don't expect any issues since they are covered.
