It worked, but just barely

I bought this to put a stereo in my 1988 Toyota Xcab pickup. It is not the perfect fit. It's too wide, so I really had to shove it in. Also, this kit uses plastic tabs that snap onto the sides of the main body of the case.
The instructions tell you which tabs to use and which holes to snap them into for your make, model and year of automobile. The prescribed tabs and holes didn't work, so I tried other tabs and other holes until I found a combination that did work. I was satisfied with the results after doing this, and not too upset about having to do so--I expected this to be a pain in the neck. Also, beware that you might need to modify (and by "modify" I mean trim down with a razor knife) the trim in your vehicle.
