Hi!

I took a pair of these on a 10 day cruise with 27 friends and family. These radios saved us literaly hours of priceless time. You can imagine what its like to coordinate 27 people to get together at a precise spot at a precise time when they are all scattered around. We didnt have to run around the ship trying to find one another. Although the radios are meant for outside use, we were able to communicate from the bottom deck to the top decks without a problem. We also were able to communicate from the top deck of the ship to shore, which was sometimes around 5 miles away when we dropped anchor and used the tender boats to get to shore. I had with me 2 of the Motorola T7200's and 2 of the Motorola T250's (2 mile range). And just for kicks i took along a Cobra GMRS(advertised at 5 miles) radio that i purchased cheap. All Motorola radios communicated clearly and had crisp clean sound. The Cobra radio always sounded muffled and a bit distorted. I highly recommend this model T7200 it has great features and it works as promised.

This radio works just as claimed,the sound is great,the range is great and if you have need a dependable radio this is perfect,also the side key button is new with motorola and is much better than the front mounted on their other radios.
The features are to numerous to mention but if you want a good GMRS radio then this is the one I would say buy this one you won't find any better radio on the market way to go motorola you did great with this one.

This is the best radio I ever used the range is incredible. I just came back from a camp out and it was windy and raining all day. This radio work the whole time no matter were I was in the camp every one could hear me. I love the repeater channels and the Voice scrambler. The weather channels keep me informed were ever I go. If you want to buy a radio it's well worth the money

My shipping and receiving employees immediately became more productive as they were able to clearly communicate throughout our warehousing and manufacturing complex. Great product. We just went ahead and order the NiCa batteries and the recharging station as we noticed that regular batteries were only lasting about 48 hours.

I have been using this radio for a few months. My first impression is that this radio is way too bulky for family use.

The radio works fine, got nice features, but one thing I want to mention is, the extra power on GMRS really won't do much to your range, so do expect to get only slightly better range than FRS. It is the environment that matters, not power.

Since you need the FCC license to operate a GMRS/FRS radio even if you are only using FRS, so I wouldn't recommend this for family use.
