Almost perfect -2

Ring tone is great fun and you get used to it after the first 5-6 calls, I wish it had more to choose from.
There are only 2 negative points I found about this phone.
{1.} If you do the "Head lean 'scrunch'" (hold it between your chin/head and shoulder) whilst your hands are busy chasing the rugrats down, it is easy to 'accidentally' press the redail or talk button. I have never cut anybody off yet, but close.
{2.} I have a Conair 'regular olde fashioned $5 phone, wired to the wall and all that, also. The Conair/'regular' phone is consistently on its second ring before the Disney phone even begins 'ringing'. Being on or off the base doesn't seem to matter either in this. Could be my local 'system', but the former Panasonic cordless I had was right on time with the ' regular phones and matched it ring for ring (it was "murdered" though, by drowning).... This phone gives you one, or more, less ring(s) to pick up!
Other than that we love everything else. (its red and easy to spot halfway under the couch too!)

Very, very pleased!

I have owned two Panasonic cordless phones, one of which is terrific. The second of the two has constant interference and no matter how often I change channels it does not improve.

In an attempt to have another phone in the house that was actually clear and usable, I bought this funny little Motorola. After all, it was on sale. I didn't care what it looked like.

Cute appearance aside, this is a terrific little phone. The sound quality is excellent, with a volume control switch. The ring tones are too much fun and, it just looks fun! I also love the very compact size, including the base. It will fit in small places. There has never been static of any kind and I've never had to change the channel. Clear, crisp reception.

The only TINY drawback is that if you hold the phone between your cheek and shoulder, you may disconnect your caller. Other than that, a great little phone!

Hello Mickey!

The telephone is attractive and easy to use. It feels comfortable in your hand for even long call. The rings are silly and fun. My family looks forward to incoming calls just to hear the rings. I love the caller i.d. feature and the first portable Disney phone.

EXCELLENT PHONE not just cuz it's Mickey:0)

I'm very picky about phones that I buy... I want a solid phone that does not give me feedback and deadness on the line.

This phone is all I was looking for and it's got alot of Disney features, too. We've had this phone for about 6 months and it's wonderful!! It's solid - doesn't feel cheap in your hands. You don't hear yourself echoing back when you talk into the phone. The reception is excellent!!! Very pleased with the quality - this phone isn't picking up neighbors conversations like my previous phone - another plus!! When no one's talking there's not a deadness that some phones have like the line has been dropped.

We are big Mickey (and Disney) fans! My son loves hearing the Mickey March melody when it rings. It's stylish and easy to use. It's a great conversation piece when you have company and they hear it ringing.

To sum it up - it's just a cute phone with high quality features and performance!

Horrible Design

(1 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Jan 29, 2004
Let me first say, I love the look and idea behind this phone...I am a big Disney addict, BUT whoever designed this phone should be fired! I have 2 kids and I work out of my home and need to use the phone a lot. I cannot even count how many times I have hung up on poor unsuspecting souls on the other end. If you even press the phone into your ear too hard while holding on to it, it will hang up! And, the caller id feature is horrible also. It constantly misses calls. I do not use this phone anymore! (but I keep it plugged in because I like the Mickey Music when I get calls)
