Great discs, excellent value.

I've used lots of these CDR's for both data and CD music audio and have found them to be completely problem free. If anyone is having problems with these CD's then I strongly suggest checking to make sure the problem is not actually with your CD burner or software. I back up data to CD all the time and I also record my own music so I tend to burn a whole lot of CD's. My CD's are played back on a wide variety of CD players and computers and the Maxell CDRs have been virtually problem free, which is a lot more than I can say for some of the budget CDR's on the market. Good workhorse CDR's or check the gear your burning with. Three thumbs up from ...

Excellent Quality! A Must BUY!

(5 out of 5) by Julie E. Melen on Oct 21, 2002 (menlo park, ca United States)
These cd's are excellent, not only because they are good price, and not only becuase they come in bulk, but because the sound quality and recording quality is excellent. no skips or bleeps and such, just pure music. they are wonderful! I suggest these to anyone who makes a lot of cd's because they are very efficient. They are also great as data cds!

Greate product

I've been using these CD-Rs for storing data and create music CDs. So far I've used more than 10 disks and never had a problem. This is really a good quality product.

Beware!

Of the 1st 8 I tried to use for data backup, only 1 was writeable on my Pacific Digital burner. At that point I gave up. Went to Office Depot and bought their store brand (made by Verbatim, I was told). They worked fine. So, not all cds are created equal, evidently highly dependent on the gear you're using... or, Maxell is using their el cheapo 100 paks as a dumping ground for their cd rejects. Caveat emptor!

Worth the purchase

I've gone through 3/4 of the 100 CDs and haven't had a problem yet.

I mainly use them for data CDs so I can't really comment on the audio part. They've worked great for me and I'm currently buying another pack.
