Small radio with great sound and FM tuner

(5 out of 5) by Eugene on Dec 3, 2005 (New York)
This is my second experience with Tivoli product. First one, SoundBook I returned back to seller because reception was not good on FM in my area. Too much noice. With this small PAL radio, it completely different story. Manual, very sensitive tuner allow you to lock station easily. Great looking radio with different colors. Very deep bass from tiny speakers. Great product - not cheap for radio, but worth it.

Unbelievable technology packed in in a little box.

(5 out of 5) by K. Hossein on Aug 26, 2005 (New York, NY)
After reading through Amazon reviews for radios, I finally stumbled upon the Tivoli PAL. The reviews were all positive so I decided to give it a try. WOW! Just took this little bad boy out of the box and to my surprise this thing sounded SUPERB - Better than the Bose.

Great sound, style, performance and price

(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Nov 10, 2003
I have owned two PAL radios for a year and I am about to buy two more as gifts. The sound is incredible for the size, the battery life is long, the tuning sensitivity and rejection of adjacent stations is terrific. I carry one around the house as I do work and we bring one when we travel.

Tivoli PAL Works

(5 out of 5) by Alan L. Soffin on May 31, 2007 (Doylestown, PA United States)
This small radio has excellent tone, clarity and available volume. It's on-battery time has so far always been adequate for hours of listening and it recharges rapidly.
It is particularly good at picking up fringe FM stations and holding signal while rejecting interference.
The soft plastic covering seems to reduce vibration and, subjectively speaking, "feels" good to the touch.
One great feature is its auxiliary input which allow a mini plug out from a computer to a mini plug into the aux input of the PAL. The result is loud, clear hearing of any internet accessible audio source. I listen to fm stations in California Tucson Philadelphia, etc. with ease. Video on the net yields excellent audio by this method.
PS I have two of them, one for some years.

This is one great radio. This is my 2nd one. I've had my 1st one for five years and purchased another for my office. Great sound, reception and great for the outdoors.
