I received this clock radio as a Christmas gift, and I was happy with the design. The sound quality is not very good, but maybe that's true for all clock radio CD players other than Bose. The reason for giving the product 1 star instead of 2 or 3 is the overall quality: By the first week of January I had taken it back to the store already for a replacement because the clock did not keep time correctly (it kept losing time). Now, in early February, I have to return the REPLACEMENT because the clock is the only thing working! It will not play the radio or CD. I'm suspecting it might be that the speakers have quit working, because the display still works. What a hassle -- I spent the majority of an afternoon installing the thing, and now most of that time is wasted, since any replacement product I might find will probably not fit the same way under the cabinet. Needless to say, I will never buy another Memorex product again (that's the manufacturer behind the product - Michael Graves is just the design).
