Adaptec USB2 XCHANGE
(4 out of 5) by Keith D. Bartman on Mar 19, 2007Great product... It helped me be able to connect my HP Scanner that SCSI type connection. Once it's connected it works great! The only issue I have is that sometimes when I plug it back in I get a Windows XP message that it was unable to recognize the device... I have to unplug it from the USB Port and then go into device manager and uninstall the unknown device and then plug it back in... Kind of an annoyance, but I can live with it as I do not need to purchase a new scanner... The scanner I have is a very nice high quality product and I'm happy that I'm still able to use it on my laptop which of course does not have a SCSI port.

SCSI > USB2 for Iomega Jaz Drive

My use was to connect older Iomega Jaz SCSI drives via USB to a new computer running XP. Instant and flawless, took no more than 3 minutes to be up and running . . . and that includes actually reading the directions which consist of 5 short paragraphs :-) If you need this for this purpose, don't hesitate.

Great Investment
