Well-made product
Belkin R6D011 CAT 5 RJ45 Female to RJ45 Female Inline Coupler
The product you'll receive when ordering this will be a Belkin R6D011 or a clone of that product. It is a double-female coupler; i.e., a jack on each end. It is also a straight-through device [no wire cross-overs] - i.e., pin 1 goes to pin 1, 2 goes to 2, etc.
It has two uses:
1. Join two Cat5/Cat5e cables with RJ45 plugs on their ends, to make a longer cable, or...
2. Snap it into a hole of a standard [e.g., Leviton brand] network wall plate. This is in lieu of using the type of keystone jack insert that requires a punch-down or similar tool to connect wires.
When used in a wall plate, terminate the Cat5e cable from inside the wall with an RJ45 plug, and insert that plug into the rear of the coupler. I prefer using this adapter in this way, rather than keystone jacks, as it's much easier and less error-prone to crimp RJ45 plugs onto cut cable than it is to crimp those same wires into a keystone jack.
I've ordered this product several times from Amazon and other vendors. The Belkin couplers easily snap into network wall plates, unlike the clones (see Customer Images), which sometimes will not. If you get clones, test them immediately and return them if they don't work for you.
The 5 stars is for the Belkin version. I'd give the clone 1 star.

Coupler works
This coupler works well in situations where you have a patch cable but need to stretch it out with another one. Just plug and go. Works great.
