The grey button makes all the difference

I have a laptop and a desktop. The other "Brand X" KVM switch I had wouldn't reliably switch to the laptop. This KVM will switch easily using the button on the unit (my favorite) or the hotkey combinations. It works.

good value, easy to hook up

I drive a single 17" monitor and share a keyboard and mouse on two separate DELL boxes (one Linux and the other Windows 98). This switch does the job nicely and the connectors use the same color-coding as the DELL boxes. The video quality is not perfect but after awhile I don't notice the degradation; I recommend this switch.

unspectacular but does a good job

I tried some other KVM switches (all Belkin) but this is much better! Cables for keyboard, mouse and VGA are included for two computers. No problems with Linux operating systems, it is always working! No troubles with the keyboard shortcuts! Good price!
