Great deal for great price!!!

... Got it a little more then 3 weeks now and very satisfied with it. The package came with VGA cable, S-Video cable, manual, CD Driver, registration card, speaker cable, and power cord. No DVI cable though. In the left hand side there were the S-Video plug and the 3-end Video plug that you can plug the monitor into the VCR, PS2, or XBOX, etc. The S-Video plug is for S-Video capable devices. In the back, there were the DVI port to plug in your DVD Player, or video cards that supports DVI output. The CATV or antena was there for you to plug in Cable TV or regular antena. Of course the VGA for PC monitor itself was there along with another Audio in and out port. You can use these ports and the one-end cable provided and plug one end to the Audio in into the computer speaker, then the speaker plug goes into the Audio out port so that you have sound for both PC and TV. The built in speakers were kinna weak therefore I recommended transfer the audio into different devices using the above method. I am thinking of getting a DVI to VGA converter that would convert my VGA connection to a DVI Connection and hope that it has greater graphic performance. Not sure on this one, I need to research more.

The monitor has excellent graphics in all of the functions of DVI, VGA (PC), TV, S-Video, Composite. The response time between modes is pretty quick. It has self signal detection feature that would auto detect for signal on all the modes. If you mess around with the video settings a bit you'll get extremely clear graphics for PC and TV.

The right-hand side there supposed to be USB ports but the model CT1702T does not equip with USB ports I think. The overall monitor was black and very slim that brings you the look of a modern monitor. A remote control was also came with the monitor for convenient access. It also equipped with ez to touch buttons in the front panel.

Overall, this one product is a excellent product that I would recommend in buying.

Hope this review clears up somethings for those who still had doubts.

Happy user

I ordered this monitor with great hesitation. I was reluctant to order a monitor from a company that I had never heard of, sight unseen. Sure enough, the monitor arrived dead - all pixels were white regardless of the mode (analog, digital, TV, etc.). I called Cornea's service number and (on the first ring) talked to someone who shipped a replacement monitor to me. I unpacked the replacement, put the dead one in the box and dropped it off at a UPS center (they paid postage both ways).

The monitor is great! I use is with a DVI cable with my Mac. The VGA cable is ready to hook up to my XP laptop if I want to run dual screens. The video/TV functions are nice. Bright colors and high contrast in all modes.

The only weakness is the sound, but it can run a pair of external computer speakers or hook up to a regular stereo with no trouble.

It works for me.

I quite like this monitor/TV. We have the computer in our bedroom and now we can also watch TV in bed (ER is on a bit late after all).

This monitor can be used in five modes Analog, Digital, S-Video, Composite Video and TV. Also it has internal loudspeakers and a remote.

As a computer monitor it is reasonable. I have only used it in the Analog mode (VGA connector). One can see a "shadow" behind the letters and one needs to play for quite while with the auto, size and phase settings to get the optimal picture. I have not tried the digital mode (DVI connector).

As a TV monitor one can either use RCA style inputs for composite video, or the s-video connector. The picture is very good and most importantly; it works with both European PAL signals and American NTSC signals. The electronics figures out what signals it is and adjusts its settings automatically. Niiice.

This unit also works as a TV. One needs to fiddle a bit with brightness, contrast and solor settings a bit, but then the picture is OK. The sound is just mono though and the internal loudspeakers are very small making the sound a bit thin. Also, one can not switch on the captions.

This set comes with a remote; which is the flimsiest, tiniest one I ever saw. It is a credit card sized thingy powered by Li coin battery. It has calculator style buttons for sound, channel up/down menu etc. I better get a "replace all" remote because I doubt this thing is going to have a long life.

To change between all these modes one can use the select button on the monitor or the remote. It takes quite a while to go from monitor to TV. One can only cycle trough the modes sequentially and witch each step the screen goes black for a few second.

I think that this unit was for the money a good buy. Also it looks quite nice even when it is switched off.

Looks Great; Poor Television Picture

Sleek looking monitor, but if you are going to use mainly as a television, beware. When switching between cable channels, this set is apparently unable to regulate the brightness or contrast of the picture, so that every time you switch channels you will have to spend minutes fiddling with the brightness and contrast controls. If you are at all a channel surfer, you will be very unhappy. Other than this problem, the picture for television is, in my opinion, mediocre, and does not compare to even bottom of the line crt televisions.

One screen, serves as both PC and TV monitor - - great colors, contrast, views at different angles, daylite and night - - well designed and who cares about the speakers - - just plug into built in Bose 5.1 system - - running this in my RV and blows minds :)
