Low Cost, Non Signal Degrading VGA SWITCH

May 12, 2007 - By HT Fanatic (Florida)

For those with 2 HiDef displays or projectors and you want to use the VGA inputs, this is a godsend! I have a CRT front projector (100" screen) and a small 15" LCD panel that both accept VGA signals, I wanted to simply be able to watch all my sources on either of the displays....whether the source was upconverted by a DVDO HD Iscan video processor (DVD, VCR, original Xbox, SEGA Dreamcasr, etc.,), or native HiDef signals (Xbox 360, HDTV Tuner, HD DVD, etc.,) And this switch is fantastic, especially for the price. Highly recommend it to those considering spendng LOTS more money for similar devices..because they don't want the signal degraded.

Good View

May 28, 2007 - By T. R. Love (Rochester, NY USA)

When you run a server and a laptop next to each other, or you just want more real estate space for your single monitor, using this switch box makes switching back and for and sharing another monitor easy.

Great but lots of shadows

Aug 23, 2007 - By SL (Marshfield, MA United States)

Great product, works as expected but creates lots of shadows on the screen that are not there when plugged in directly so they are artifacts from the switch box.

FINE PRODUCT

Dec 11, 2007 - By Daniel J. Funk (Sacramento)

Using to connect two high end computers to a 27" lcd monitor [Polaroid]. I switch several times daily with no detectable loss of signal quality. Had very good quality cables and connectors to use from the start which may explain why my results were better than some
