After researching sound sytems for nearly 2 years I decided to go with the MC500 as my L/C/R speaker system along with the P1000, S300's and an MC300 as a center rear speaker. Fits nicely with my 50" plasma. Perfect for THX and DTS soundtracks. Music sounds very crisp and full, without the speakers ever sounding like they are being stressed.

Downside, very bulky and heavy. Used as a center it sits nearly 10 inches high. Not many entertainment centers will hold this size speaker. Price, it's an investment $$$.

I still found that it was the best price compared to the other top of the line systems out there. Despite the size and cost, the sound quality eclipses its rivals still making this a perfect 10!!!!

I am very happy with my Cambridge Soundworks MC500s. I've bought from Cambridge before and you can never go wrong with their speakers. I upgraded my current home theater set-up with the MC500s and couldn't be happier with the sound.

This speaker is ultra-compact, but it sure does offer big performance. I used the keyhole slots on the back to mount them in my family room wall, and you'd never even realize they were there. Friends and family are blown away by the performance.
