Hey Amazon, Stay Klossy!
This Cambridge Soundworks 2.1 system is fantastic. The 2.5" mid/high drivers are very rich and produce fantastic stereo. The subwoofer is surprisingly powerful, as well. One key to this system's awesomeness is it's 4 ohm loading.
If you're looking for a 2.1 system, this is one of the top 5 to consider. Cambridge Soundworks has been bought out by Creative, and Creative Labs has a new 2.1 system that received a 9/10 at Cnet. That's the other system you should consider, though it costs approximately 4x as much.
Only cons: Slight hiss (usually unnoticeable) and perhaps the wired speaker connections instead of quick connect jacks.
This system was the king of 2.1's in the past (~3 years ago I believe) when it cost a bit over $100. Now, the system is still for sale at a much sweeter cost of ~30. It still sounds as sweet, too :)
This system was designed by the legend, Henry Kloss.

small speakers -- excellant quality
I had previously bought a pair of multimedia speaks from another company ..., but I had no way to compare until the Cambridge Soundworks arrived -- they are much better -- heavy and well built with volume control -- definetaly buy these as they are a good deal for the quality.

good for everyone on your gift list
I have owned these speakers for the last few years, and they are more than I paid for. I really like their small size, and good sound. I give these as gifts to friends, my neices and nephews. Perfect for anyone who ever listens to music on their computer. Also good for plugging into a TV, and a walkman - for good sound in any room. I am very happy with my purchase.

Tiny size- unbelievable sound!
I got these speakers as gift, and thought I really didn't need them as my PC came with computer speakers. I was so wrong! These blew away my old speakers. They are small, and fit great on my desk, and the subwoofer fits below the desk. For the size, I can not believe the sound, I can even feel the bass coming from them. And best of all, they are incredibly easy to set up, and you can't beat the price. I now give these as gifts I am so happy with mine.

small size but packed with power. a good value for the money. if you are listenging to music on your computer through the built in speakers or the free ones you got with your package, it's time to upgrade.
