I am using this cable to go from my Dell PC to my new 42" Toshiba LCD, picture reproduction is excellent and no signal loss over the distance of 25'.

Overrated cable

(1 out of 5) by jsermeno on Oct 13, 2008
I bought this cable because of the high reviews it received on amazon. I was going to use it to connect my laptop to my 24" lg lcd monitor. But at 1900x1200 this cable's image reproduction was far worse than the default cable I received with the monitor. There was a slight flickering to the images, and yes I double-checked to make sure the connections were secure.

Also, in the image it shows that there is a ferrite core at each end of the cable. But there is only one ferrite core on one end of the cable that I received. This also makes it worse than the default monitor cable I received which has one on both ends.

Excellent product

(5 out of 5) by Stephen Minton on Nov 13, 2007 (Westborough, MA USA)
This product does exactly what it claims to do, is reliable and robust and good value for the price. I'm using it to connect my Windows Vista laptop to an LCD TV in the living room, and the extra length is ideal for stretching from my desk to the TV. It delivers perfect, crisp representation of your PC display to the TV, ideal for watching movies and video such as Vongo, Movielink etc. I also use it with the New York Times reader application to read the paper from my couch. All you need is a TV with PC input and you're good to go, this cable will do the rest.

Works great!

(5 out of 5) by R. Lamb on Apr 10, 2007 (NYC, NY)
No problems, great picture, Easy to use. I hooked it up from my laptop to my (Samsung LCD) TV and have had no problems. It's a long cable so it's great if you want to move around with it. I played some movies off my laptop and the picture was sharp and clear.
