Everybody who rides in my car is impressed with this system

This is a really cool looking stereo with lots of cool features that no other system has. For example, when it plays CDs it reads the name of the song and artist (if present) and has an everchanging background that you can change to lots of different colors. The text display is a disappointment because it shows only the first seven or so letters of the name of the artist. This is not good if you listen to XM (which once you get you will not want to listen to much of anything else). Also, it does not hold XM presets and does not display the time while the XM radio is engaged. I don't use an amp for the speakers and it is plently loud. I would recommend this item but I would get a stand alone XM tuner and plug it threw the Aux input for ideal results.

The Best CD/MP3 Radio unit for the car.

I bought the unit because I wanted to use MP3 burned CD that I am using at work. This way I can have a lot music (like 6 conventional CDs on a single MP3 CD).

My experience after 6 months:
This is an excellent product. A very good sound quality. The power going out to the speakers is more than enough for me. In addition there are alot of features in this unit. But the most impressing thing is that for the basic operations you need to use only two dials. You can locate them easily without looking down.

Warning:
I used DirectCD by EasyCD (ROXIO) to burn my MP3 CDs. These didn't work well even though they worked well on the work computer.
The solution I used is a conventional burning.
The exact symptom was that each song was devide to mutiple tracks and the CD "jumped" between these tracks.
The solution as stated above: Use a conventional burning software. After that, everything works flowlessly including the incredible feature that it restarts from the same spot when you turn off the player.

I love:
The sound,
The fact I can play MP3s flowlessly.
The two dials concept,
The fancy display,
The fact that the face fold doen when you have to put a CD in.
The design and look of the unit.

I hate:
The fact that the song name is displayed only at the beginning of the playing. But this is not that big deal. Also by by pressing a button you can view it anytime.
