Better than an iPod!

(4 out of 5) by Jose Pimentel on Jul 4, 2009 (Caracas, Venezuela)
I've been using minidisc since its inception in the market. I've experienced Sharp and Sony minidisc players and I'm gonna tell you why I enjoy it so much. First, you have almost 150 minutes of music in each minidisc. The MD burner software lets you rip directly from CD to minidisc in minutes without using your hard disk to previous storage and management of library. In case you are a digital freak, you can manage your library with Sonic Stage, create your playlist and voilá! Secondly, you know you have certain disks for travel, office, parties and home pleasure, I mean your special playlists in each minidisc for any occasion, by the way, minidiscs are rewritable one million times without losing quality. So, if you are enjoying iPods, I know the kind of struggle you have when downloading to iTunes and then losing your library synchronizing it, don't mention looking for a playlist or song up and down your jog center button...enjoy it! One thing: I really hope that your whole music don't get loose when your PC is down...you're gonna love your CD library!

Mini Disc Rules

(5 out of 5) by Douglas J. Benroth on Jan 14, 2009 (Tampa Florida)
I have been a fan of M.D. since it's inception. Sound quality better than MP3's Disc's that are R-W and recording times of over 5 hours per disc. It is the most versatile audio recorder editor on the market.
I have several MD players recorders. This one was awesome a heavy duty sports model that was $249.99 new and I got for $74.95. As all of them works perfect sounds great and will bring years of enjoyment.

Best sports audio system

Esta diseñado para eso. El ipod por ser un disco duro, puede sufrir daños
con el movimiento. Creo que es el mejor sistema digital para gimnasio o hacer jogger

I have used this item for a few years now. The switches/buttons are very durable. I think as portable's go-this will last longer than most.

best portable music player i've had

(5 out of 5) by Rachel on Dec 9, 2006 (Staunton, VA United States)
i've used several different MD players before but i've enjoyed this one the best. my biggest complaint about others was skipping and the software. when i bought my it was version 1.2. which is a pain because of the checking in/out system. this problem was eliminated later versions of the software. one important thing is to make sure to update the software. i can cos problems with burning discs. i like MDs in general because unlike cds they're very hard to mess up (i.e. scratch). this on also eliminates skipping problems.
