I bought this product because it was durable (My cat knocked my last portable CD player off the table, to it's doom). Do not buy this, if like me, your main form of CD's are CD-R's. This player does NOT play CD-R's. My player was bought used, so it didnt come with headphones, but the sound is great in the player. Overall, hmm.. 3 stars.

This Cd Player ROCKS

I swear to god this cd player never skips. I bought a very cheap cd player from someone and all it did was skip, you could throw this cd player against the wall and it would not skip, and better yet the batteries last a super long time with my old cd player I had to change batteries ever two days.

Best I've found so far

I use this player when I work out at my gym, and it has performed like a rock star. The sound is great. It hasn't skipped yet. I really like the ear plug headphones. All that and the fact that you can use the player and included adaptor to charge nickel metal-hydride rechargeable batteries makes this player very worth it's approximate $... cost. My one complaint is one that would also apply to many other portable players (but especially this one since it's designed to be a sports player). It really needs to have some kind of belt clip to hang the player on the waist. The hand strap is great but becomes inconvenient when you want to work with weights or machines.

READ BELOW FOR EVERYTHING I LOVE ABOUT THIS CD PLAYER

This is the best CD player I have ever had, and I've gone though at least six. I'll never need to buy another. What has my CD player gone through?
- At crew (rowing) practice, I was standing on the dock listening to my CD player when I fell off into the lake... haha I'm clumsy, what can I say. Of course, the CD player went in with me, and I was so scared it sank to the bottom of the lake. My friend on the dock who helped me up also got my cd player, which had been fully submerged in the lake water, and put it on the dock. When I was fully out of the water, I asked her how she got my cd player out. She exclaimed "IT FLOATED!!!!" and when I reached for it, it was still playing my CD. AMAZING!
- To prove it's skip protection to my cousins in Argentina who are used to expensive CD players skipping, not having the same technology as us, I put the headphones on one of my cousins and proceeded to jump up and down, literally, on this cd player. They looked at me like I was a complete PYSCHO, but were then more amazed that the cd player didn't skip at all!
- I drop this CD player all the time. And it doesn't break.
- The battery life is purely amazing. Remember how I visit my argentinian cousins? Its a six hour drive to the airport and an 11 hour flight. On not new batteries, I have listened to my cd player for those 6 hours, then the 11 hours straight, then listened to my cd player while in argentina for three weeks, then listened to it the whole way back, flight and drive included. And the batteries were still not dead.
Never buy any other CD player. This is IT.

I've found this product to be excellent so far.
1. It looks great in an eye-catching way
2. It runs for 45 hours or so on rechargeables
3. It's water-resistant (hasn't broken yet)
4. What else do you want?
