These sensors are great. Very helpful and they certainly work. I happen to use them inside each entrance door in my home. Believe me, they work. Just need one of the actual alarm units near your bed at night and the sensors are all tuned to go off if anyone were to break the line of the sensor. I had one outside the home (RE:DRIVEWAY) but, any traffic in the street or most anything would set it off. Like calling wolf,to me. Therefore, I personally use them and like them as security devices after midnight, if you know what I mean...........They do work.

Works for a while and then breaks. Change all the batteries and it then rings continuously. Too bad it was good for a little while.

I have some hidden driveway patrols close to my boat dock that has no lights or security. Had some false alarms and the unit failed to work after a heavy rain storm. I took it inside and let it dry and afterward it worked again. I noticed some drops of rain inside and damp on the lens. Because it is installed in open air and sun I made some cover around it that I painted (flat)black inside. All six are working and alert one receiver. I inclined all the units a few degrees downwards.
Masking the lens gave me some individual sensitivity adjustment.

My husband & I love this unit since we now know when someone is pulling up the driveway. It continues to send us the alert through storms, heat, and extreme cold.
