Lasted 4 years- very pleased.
Pros: Tight, punchy, low-end bass. Very good low-pass x-over filter - sounded truly good even at the upper end (needed to take the pressure off my 4 ghastly OEM paper cone woofers, after which the bass really complemented them, and sounded just lovely with the 4 tweeters).
Exactly what I needed in my Passat sport sedan. Added more than enough thump to my music. Lasted almost exactly 4 years, which is what the Circuit City tech said I should expect.
Trunk room intrusion is minimal.
VW Passat, Kenwood head unit.
Cons: Wish I had the crossover filter on the remote as well, instead of only the gain control. I hear Kenwood subs have both. Maybe they'll make a larger WooX someday.

Out of warranty Out of boom
As with most other reviews I found this sub to an impressive little guy. It is built well on the outside, it comes with multiple mounts for horizontal or vertical mounting and the remote db gain is nice. After a good bit of research like others, I decided this was the one for my needs. Again like most I was looking to fill out the lows not anger the neighbors. I am past that now just as the need for huge bass. Now for the truth. Most reviews are shortly after the purchase with the exception of the last post. Which I might add that I am happy for him and his speaker's longevity. I however cannot make that statement. Let me start by saying I take care not to abuse electronics or motors, it's kind of weird but if you are taking the time to read these reviews I think you understand. It seemed that the day my warranty expired so did my trusty sub. So off to contacting Infinity. Well good luck with that. I thought there were synonymous with great customer service, you know being in Lexus's and all that. Well that just is not true. I can't tell you how poorly I was treated. Really it was just lack of any treatment really. I am in the market for a new one now and it won't be basslink.
Great sound
This relatively inexpensive subwoofer/amp combo produces great sound for those who just want great bass without rattling your car apart. I really like the sound it produces.
Best investment I have made in a long time!
I am happy to let everyone know you can buy something so great and not break the bank! This is the smartest product that Infinity could ever make. I have a 2003 Pontiac Vibe with Factory cd player with traffic and the display tells you what station you are on and so on. I have installed Infinity 6 1/2" front door speakers 45watts @2ohms and rear door 5 1/4" speakers 45watt @2ohms. Sounds great. But, something was missing. Cool!!!!! A 200 watt Infinity Basslink!! This basslink was soooo easy to hook up to my factory cd player. The Basslink has a cool feature if you don't have a Remote turn wire on the back on your radio. It senses music from the speaker wires spliced into your factory cd player included with the Basslink and turns the unit on. How cool is that! It also has a bass knob you can put anywhere on the dash to control you bass without pulling over and popping open the trunk. When I was done installing the Basslink I thought I forgot something. Oh yeah!! Turn it on and enjoy!! All my cds in my car sound so much better and I enjoy driving everywhere even stuck in traffic!! Infinity rules!!!!
Great Sub, But...
Excellent sub, great low frequency response without rattling the car. I had this installed in an acura integra for about 5 years, and it finally died. Maybe the cold or hot weather extremes shortened the life of the amp. The power amp or electronics burned out suddenly, the servo light blinks occasionally "resetting" and no sound. I will definately buy another one, it got alot of use, and sounded great.
