Best Value For Your Money
(4 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Jul 31, 2002 (Santa Rosa, CA USA)I bought this system a few weeks ago and it is great! It has a lot more features then a lot of other more expansive systems. The sound is great when listing to your TV or playing CD's. The only problem that I have encountered is that there was a slite backround noise when I played DVD's. But this problem went away when I switched to better cables. Overall this is the best value around that you can for your money without breaking the bank.

Amazing picture and sound for the $$$

I was surprised to find, after much sampling, that this Koss home/theatre deal surpassed systems costing [much] more at local electronic stores. For the $$$ you will save and the high level of quality you will receive this is a really good buy!

from the seller. I was amazed that I got a full Home Theater System DVD/CD player for the price of a cheaper receiver alone ! The system is a complete joy to me. I recommend it 100%. It was like by one (Receiver), get three additions to it free. The sound is great and we love using it !

Excellent Starter System

Simple to set up, stylish looks and plenty or power, it's loud enough to drown out the wife doing the dishes and banging the pots and pans around. The tuner sound is just as good as the Dolby, I haven't experinced any distortion even at full power.The instructions are explainatory enough so that anyone could understand them, I mean, I did. All in all I'm really satisfied with this Father's Day gift. Thanks Honey!

don't buy this
(1 out of 5) by S. Kirn on Jun 18, 2005 (New Hampshire)It worked great, for about 8 months. Everything you'd want it to be, for an out-of-the-box system. Then it started overheating and stopped reading dvds. Then it stopped reading dvds entirely. I am told that Koss won't even repair it if you send it back to them, and the parts are seemingly unavailable to do it yourself. Do yourself a favor and buy something that will last.
