The best of its kind!

I was shopping for a while, trying to determine the ideal TV/VCR combo for our bedroom, and after much looking, I stumbled upon this model by Panasonic, which does that and more. Beside nicely and lightly (32 lbs) integrating a 13" and a 2-head VCR, the combo offers FM (8 memories for your favorite stations) and it can wake you up to TV, Radio or a VHS movie! Since it comes in two colors (white and black) you can pick the one that best suits the place where you will be enjoying it.
To top this, given its price, if you are not in a rush, you can get free shipping for it, which makes it an even better option because of its low price. One warning only: make sure you stick to the recommendation in the box. Don't turn it on the first time unless the antenna you will be using is already plugged: before anything else, it does an auto-tuning, to pick up your local channels.

Never Again

I have purchased 2 of these TV/VCR combo's. The first one lost it's red color intermittently and had to go to the shop 4 different times. The second one, stopped sucking in the tapes. They would go half way in, stop and come back out. It was also in the shop 4 times. The 5th time it stopped working, I gave the TV/VCR away to someone that didn't need the VCR, just the TV.
Yes the TV's were still under warranty but only for the parts. Labor is where the real costs lie. I paid enough in repairs to replace both TV's again. Each time the part cost less than 10 cents. So I've stopped throwing good money after bad.
BTW the only 'authorised' repair place was over a 50 mile round trip.

Love the set. I have had no problems whatsoever and I highly reccommend this inexpensive combo unit to anyone. Setting up the VCR was a breeze and the remote is user friendly.

Bang for the buck

Based on past reviews, it looks like this is a love-it-or-hate-it sort of product. Put me in the "love it" category...mostly. We bought it for our kids, but it's moved to our bedroom. Sorry!
It's affordable and performs as advertised. Whaddyawant for such a low price?
Pros:
- Loop feature (play a tape again and again until it breaks)
- FM radio
- Auto-clock set
- Usual features like sleep, v-chip, A/V input
- Compact and easy to relocate
Cons:
- Mono, not stereo
- A/V input is front; nothing in rear
