Overseas use of the Dimage X

(3 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Jun 9, 2002
Minolta says you can not recharge the Dimage X battery overseas.
This seems ridiculous for such a fine 'travel' camera. Has anyone tried recharging the battery outside the US and Canada?

Overall It's a good $250 camara

(3 out of 5) by F. Yip on Dec 25, 2002
The bad: Your setting of your camara will lose after you turned it off or changed battery. The manual itself doesn't tell you all the stuff that you need to know.

The good:
-(which is also the bad)
The lightweight made it easy carry but also easy to make a
hand-shake picture with just a little movement.
-fast charge battery (like an hour for full charge)

Well overall it's cool design doesn't make me stop using it
