I have been looking for a DVD Player that played MP3's and the GE 1401P was worth the wait. It's the first DVD Player I have purchased and was quite satified for the price. Plays DVD's, CD-R, CD-RW, and MP3's it may not have all the features of some expensive players. Highly recommend it for people ready to move up and start to experiment with DVD Players.

The product offers many of the features of the higher priced models at a very good price. The outputs are more than adequate for the average buyer and if you are like me, your older TV and Audio equipment won't support any of the top end features of the higher priced models anyway.

This is a really great DVD player! If you looked at some of the higher priced DVD players you really don't see that much of a difference. It's really easy to use and convenient! I reccomend it very much. If it's your 1st ,2nd, 3rd or whatever dvd player it's great either way!

Great dvd player to start out with! Even though I'm a man and refuse to read the direction to anything, this was the easiest to hook up.... plug it in, connect it to your vcr, press the open button, and put in a dvd.... that easy. And yes this does play vcds.... an improtant note I couldn't find anywhere....

I purchased this DVD player a few months ago. I hooked it up with no problems. I put a DVD in and it played. We have a more expensive unit in the living room, and I find this one much easier to use. You get more bang for the buck on this one. I love this player, and I recommend this player to anyone looking for good player without spending too much money.
