BUY THIS RECEIVER!

I paid about 3 times as much for first (big name) receiver and it blew out after about a year. This thing was a third of the price and puts most other low-end units to shame. It has some awesome features and sounds great. Sherwood somehow manages to make top-of-the-line stuff for ridiculously low prices. I will definitely replace the rest of my components with Sherwoods next time they go.

Exceptional Value
(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Oct 17, 2002This unit has the best feature/price ratio I have found! DD&DTS, 3 Digital imputs for this price! And it sounds good. Best entry-level receiver I have found. Very easy to set-up,good remote,easy to make running adjustments. Worth a look.
Well worth the money

I've been impressed with the level of features and performance of the 7103, especially for the money. It is easy to set up, easy to use, and does a nice job for our modest home theater.
