It sounds good and it was a good buy. Easy to install with no problems.
Music to Our Ears ~
We recently installed the SP6C's in our small Office/Computer/Work Room.
Coupled them with a NuTone volume control, as the 'source' is two rooms away.
For the most part we are running commercial free Live365 from our router to our Tivo and then through a home theater system for the bedroom. Once in awhile we might play a CD, or tape, or FM radio through the home theater source, to other rooms, but we mostly run the Live365.
The JBLs were a breeze to install, nice to look at, and have a sound that is better than we expected, for all of what we play. Nice clear sound, the highs are high, the lows are low, there is nice separation.
The ability to aim the tweeter's is a plus for convergence.
I was a little bit leery of getting the off white, as I thought that it would not look right with our conventional condo popcorn ceilings.
But the price was right, so I ordered them, just the same.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that they blend in beautifully.
We have ceiling speakers of different brands in some of our rooms.
The bedroom, home theater set up calls for, and benefits from, our Parasound Pal-1002-Cerwin Vega amplified sub woofer.
We were wondering how we would fare with the JBLs in a room without the subwoofer.
They hold up very well at the lower volumes we run the sound at in the small room that they are in. We hardly miss the sub at all.
All in all, we are very happy with the JBLs
Caveat: We run mostly classical, Nu Age and Jazz music.
I am not sure how they would hold up to Rock or other music at high volume.

Excellent quality, especially for the price.
Fantastic purchase. Not the most technical person in the world, but these installed so easily, and look great. Blend into my ceiling (used for rears in my home theater system). Can't beat the price.

Amazing ...
I bought these as in wall speakers for my kitchen. The bass response is so good, I am thinking of adding couple more in the dining area. Amazing.

Just fine for the money...
it's pretty simple, you get what you pay for... no these won't be able to handle the loudest music with ease nor would i recommend them for home theatre surround...
however, they work perfectly fine for ambient sound throughout the house... in all i bought 3 pair; one for the kitchen, the master bath, and the utility room... utilizing some volume switches and an additional receiver connected to zone 2 on my master receiver and i couldn't be happier...
absolutely nothing wrong with these as long as you don't ask too much of them...
