My new husband and I bought this stereo when we were purchasing our first home. We got home and took it out of the box. The seek buttons don't work so we couldn't play cd's or change the channel on the radio. This was several months ago and we have yet to hear back from Emerson. If I could put zero stars I would but I was forced to put at least one star.

This unit looked cool in the store and the display sound was promising. Two months later, there was a whirring sound in the fan in the back of the machine. Despite efforts to clean it out (thinking it was dust) it still whirs and is loud and distracting. Don't be fooled by the good looks.

I bought this system cause of space saving issues. To my suprise it sounds great. Lots of volume and bass. For the money it just can't be beat. Plays cd's perfectly and the aux input allows me to use my duel cassette deck. All in all a great unit.

This music system is great! It was a lot better than I expected! The sound was clearer than ever and I was able to enjoy my Cd's more than I ever have! This system is perfect if you don't have a lot of space. It is sleek and compact and the speakers can be placed almost anywhere! I especially love the light modern blue color and the retro design. The remote was a pleasant suprise. I didnt have to get up to change a song or station. Keep up the good work! This is a must have in any room!!!

Executives will love it, but head bangers and gangstas won't. The sound quality is fine for the laid-back, but those that play music loud will be disappointed...my suggestion to them is to get a boombox, that's what they are for. I love this stereo, it is a perfect addition to my living room and has a cool light that adds ambiance to my parties...:) I recommend the stereo to those interested in a small and powerful radio, but only if they are not planning on waking the neighbors.
