excellent monitor
(5 out of 5) by pistol Pete on May 7, 2002 (Helena, MT USA)What else can I say? This is an excellent monitor. I think the picture is superior to other flat screen monitors, who shall remain nameless. Very bright, very crisp, and very adjustable - surprisingly so, in fact. Set the color temp. to 6500k, it's great. Oh, and this thing is truly flat. Recommended for video and CADD drafting.

High resolution = blurry text. Convergence & Geometry issues

The price is CHEAP compared to the other 22" (even with other NEC 22"s)
Problem is very obvious, geometry and convergence at any resolution.
Move to higher res. and text will become blurry.
Very good for playing games (low resolution like 800x600 or 1024x768). Not recommended if you want to use higher than 1280x1024 res for regular use (Internet, word, etc.)
In other words, this would make a good monitor for my parents.

Great Monitor

Great picture. Great colors. Great refresh rate.
ONly possible inus is that it takes up alot of room so some might not love it as much as I do but the display on this monitor is flawless. One day MAYBE flat panels will be able to offer the kind of resolution that this monitor does but not anytime in the near future.... I would absolutely recommend this monitor.
I don't think that anyone who buys one will regret it in the least...
