Absolutely flawless picture

(5 out of 5) by David Schwartz on May 21, 2005 (Murphys, CA USA)
This monitor has a native resolution of 1280x1024 and a huge screen size. This makes it confortable to place the monitor a bit further away from your eyes than with smaller monitors or monitors with a higher resolution. This not only gives you an amazing picture but makes your eyes much less stressed as well.

If you're at your computer more than 5 hours a day, you owe yourself this monitor. The stand is ergonomic as well.

The picture is spectacular with a video card with a digital output. Mid-range DVI video cards are available for $40-$60, so there's no excuse not to get one.

Did I mention that the picture is absolutely flawless? No ghosting. No blurry text. No wavering of the image, it's rock solid. No off colors.

One minor nit. It has a sound input, and an awkward volume control, and a headset jack, but no speakers. So the audio features are basically useless -- there's no point in hooking your audio into the monitor.

If you're looking for a cheaper monitor that is basically the same except it has a smaller screen, check out the 1850X. The picture is as good and the resolution is the same; however, you will probably have to put it closer to your eyes to see the smaller pixels, resulting in a bit more eyestrain.

If you've been waiting for the time to buy an LCD monitor, now's the time. If you have a 15-inch LCD monitor, give it to your kids. ;)

NEC & Mitsubishi Team Up To Produce Excelent Moniter

(5 out of 5) by James Ross on Dec 19, 2002 (Seattle, WA USA)
I have avoided using LCD monitors since I first saw one in my local Best Buy. Why? Because I use my PC to play games, and I have believed in the myth that all LCD monitors have that "ghosting" problem, you know, when things move across the screen but leave a fait "ghost" where they were. Ever since I saw the NEC-Mitsubishi Multisync LCD2010X-BK Black LCD Monitor I've been promoting LCD monitors to all my friends and family. I seriously and strongly recommend this outstanding monitor to the casual user and hardcore gamer alike!
