Great features! Love it!

This is the only alarm clock I know of (at least in this price range) that has so many great features. I don't know who decided that the best amount of snooze time is 9 minutes which is the standard on almost every other clock I know of. This clock lets you set the snooze time to what YOU want. It has digital tuning that lets you find the station you want quickly and accurately. No more fiddling around trying to find that sweet spot. The digital tuner also lets you go to sleep to one station and wake up to another! (I only wish you could set the volume differently for sleep and wake. Unfortunately that's not possible.)
Another nice feature is that the sleep button holds the last setting. Most clocks set themselves for one hour as soon as you hit the button so if you set it for twenty minutes and then accidentally hit the sleep button again, you have the reset it for twenty minutes. On THIS clock it holds that twenty minute setting until you change it. It also lets you move backwards and forwards so if you miss the twenty you don't have to start over.
As far as the basics go, it has a large clear display, clear and crisp sound, and sharp tuning. My only complaint is that the small buttons are a bit uncomfortable to press. That shouldn't be a major issue though.
In short, I love this clock and highly recommend it!

One isn't enough! Bring it back!

This clock was a gift two years ago---almost three---and I was a little ambivalent about receiving an alarm clock for Christmas. I don't even work outside the home!
But, I'm a true fan of this clock. I have a hard time seeing blue or green digital clocks. The red LED numbers are large and visible even in the bright Arizona daylight. The snooze button is right in the front, which I like. The alarm sets both forward _and_ backward (instead of having to go through the whole cycle again if you missed). It has a digital timer with memory settings (I've not used that feature much; I'm a one-station kind of gal). Even with my glasses off, in the middle of the night, I can roll over and easily see the time---yet the clock isn't so bright it keeps me awake (like my husband's current clock does!).
I have two complaints, one minor(!) and one major(!). The minor one: the buttons on top have little recesses around them, which collect the dust from our dust storms---I would like to see something more integrated (similar to the buttons on the KitchenAid blenders designed for easy cleaning). The major complaint: I can't find this clock _anywhere_ any more! Both my husband and my son want my clock. I can't bear to give it up, but they both need the alarm clock more than I do. *sigh*
Not only would I recommend this clock, I want RCA to bring this model (with the RED LEDs) back, so I can buy 4 or 5 more!

GREAT NAP FEATURE

This is the best & easiest to use clock radio I have ever owned. It has a big snooze button, but most of all, it has a great seperate nap feature that you can set up to 2 hours & it doesn't interfere with the alarm setting. The setting buttons are so simple you can do it in your sleep, well, literally half asleep. Of course, it has a battery back-up & the numbers are huge so you can see them even blurry eyed in the middle of the night. I highly recommend this great clock. I liked it so much that bought two of them, just in case........
I wish ANYONE still made a clock this good.

Today was a sad day for me, We had a power surge during a storm and it killed my RCA RP3711. I got this alarm clock about 6 years ago, and since day one I have loved it. Before this model I had RCA's CD player model, Which was nice, but I don't listen to CDs. The digital tuner is the best part of this alarm. You can set one station to listen to during the day, another to fall asleep to, and yet another to wake to. The NAP feature was cool too because I like to take my after work nap, 1 hour, and I don't like changing my alarm, so it was perfect. GRADUWAKE kept this alarm from scaring me to death in the morning by starting the alarm with a soft tone and getting extremely loud, which sometimes I need. Overall this was the best alarm clock I have ever and probably ever will own considering even RCA's new line doesn't even come close to the amount of features and conveniences that this model contains.
