Used mine several years, no problems.

(4 out of 5) by Brian on Jul 10, 2009 (Kansas City)
Ive used this Panasonic fax machine for several years quite sucessfully. Nothing has broken on mine. It seems to be simple operation, just push the green button to fax. I did discover that I need to feed in the pages one at a time to prevent a jam when sending, but this has never bothered me since I typically only send a few pages at a time. The copy function works great, very quick, and prints a better copy than thru my scanner.

DO NOT BUY THIS FAX MACHINE!!!!

Plastic tab broke off after 6-months of very light use. Total piece of crap product. Read the rest of the consumer reviews below, and you will see that virtually everyone who has posted here has had the same exact problem. Once the tab breaks -- and TRUST ME, it WILL break -- the machine is rendered useless.

Don't buy this machine

(1 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on May 31, 2003
The most frustrating thing about this machine is that it's very difficult to install new toner--which should be a simple thing. I, too, have had a small piece break off inside that causes the cover to stay open so I can not send or receive faxes.

Also, the paper feeder is not reliable if faxing more than one or two sheets. They get jammed. Save money down the line and buy a Hewlett-Packard.
