Excellent Product - good for cleaning wisdom teeth

(5 out of 5) by E. M. Shafer, II on May 15, 2003 (Overland Park, Kansas United States)
Excellent design and price. Very powerful. I have used this to clean my Panasonic pore cleaner and even my Panasonic wet/dry razor. I'd recommend this highly to anyone with wisdom teeth that are difficult to clean.

Panasonic EW176 Portable Oral Irrigator

(4 out of 5) by Karen E. Pizarchik on Apr 7, 2003 (Indiana, PA United States)
My dentist recommended that my family use this portable irrigator. I must say that I am very pleased with it. I personally hate to floss, so this has made a huge difference
with my gums. The only thing that I recommend is that you use rechargeable batteries as the batteries do wear down rather quickly. We went on a trip this past weekend, and it was great. Being very portable, I didn't have a problem packing it in my suitcase. It is even small enough to put in my purse to take to work. One thing, once you start using it, you will hate the feel of food on your teeth!

Excellent Portable Product

(4 out of 5) by Larry W Canterbury on Mar 12, 2003 (Oak Lawn, Illinois United States)
This portable unit does a nice job although the reservoir should be larger. Powerful enough to remove those particles stuck between the teeth. Small enough to take anywhere, although I am buying another one to keep at the office.

Handy Little Gizmo

(5 out of 5) by Susan L. Link on Dec 20, 2002 (Hattiesburg, MS United States)
I ordered this for myself. My husband sees it, tries it out, says it works great, and wanted it for himself to use at the office. So I immediately ordered another one.
It is conveniently small, so you can keep it in the desk at work or even in your purse. Even though it is battery-driven, it has plenty of power and does an excellent job of cleaning my teeth. I highly recommend this product.

Panasonic EW176 Disappointing!

(1 out of 5) by Elisabeth I. Perry on Jun 26, 2002 (St Louis, MO)
I'm about to throw out my second EW176. The first one never made good contact with batteries and kept dying on me; the second one is just about ready to give up the ghost -- the pulse is slow and erratic and finally dies to a dead stop. I've changed the batteries (which it eats up rapidly) to no avail. I've cleaned it! to no avail. The reservoir holds very little water. Great size (really is compact) and weight, but...in the end...disappointing. I'm looking for a new portable oral irrigator!
