A Gem Of A Product

(5 out of 5) by Marvin L Diamond on Aug 28, 2001 (Sonoma, Ca. USA)
Results for me have been terrific---I have inlays, fillings, crowns. etc. This great "tool" in tandem with brushing and flossing over the past 3 or 4 months cleared all debris for the first time. I have always been told to try harder---I did with this irrigator added to my usual regimen of just brushing and flossing. My dentist gave me a thumbs up for the first time in a long while. No new cavities this past dental visit. I bought one for my daughter and ordered another for myself. If Panasonic ever discontinues this I will have a spare.

Panasonic EW176 Disappointing!

(1 out of 5) by Elisabeth I. Perry on Jun 26, 2002 (St Louis, MO)
I'm about to throw out my second EW176. The first one never made good contact with batteries and kept dying on me; the second one is just about ready to give up the ghost -- the pulse is slow and erratic and finally dies to a dead stop. I've changed the batteries (which it eats up rapidly) to no avail. I've cleaned it! to no avail. The reservoir holds very little water. Great size (really is compact) and weight, but...in the end...disappointing. I'm looking for a new portable oral irrigator!

not enough force

(4 out of 5) by jay r. levine on Dec 23, 2001 (bronx, n.y. United States)
it serves the purpose for travel, though it lacks an adjustment for force of water, because the force is not quite enough. can you advise where i can purchase an additional nozzle?

Panasonic EW176 Portable Oral Irrigator

(4 out of 5) by Karen E. Pizarchik on Apr 7, 2003 (Indiana, PA United States)
My dentist recommended that my family use this portable irrigator. I must say that I am very pleased with it. I personally hate to floss, so this has made a huge difference
with my gums. The only thing that I recommend is that you use rechargeable batteries as the batteries do wear down rather quickly. We went on a trip this past weekend, and it was great. Being very portable, I didn't have a problem packing it in my suitcase. It is even small enough to put in my purse to take to work. One thing, once you start using it, you will hate the feel of food on your teeth!

I WISH I HAD IT MUCH EARLIER!

It is so effective specially to anyone with dental bridge works. I like it so that I am ordering a second one for my office use.
