Excellent sound, easy use

(5 out of 5) by K. Pryne on Jan 2, 2006 (Santa Rosa, CA United States)
I've had these headphones for several years. They work very well with the TV and the sound quality is far superior to the TV speakers and excellent in its own right. The batteries last several days. I'm completely satisfied.

Headphones' rubber gripper disintegrates

(1 out of 5) by Review Writer on Sep 4, 2005 (Richmond, VA USA)
There is one thing that I have not seen mentioned here that will make it very difficult to use these headphones -- the rubber gripper that holds the headphones on your head (without them slipping down) disintegrates over time.

I have not had my Jensen JW160 headphones that long but that gripper has already broken into several pieces. So now when I put them on my head they just slide down. The earpieces are then down around my neck.

I don't know whether this is a problem with all headphones but it is definitely something to consider when buying these headphones.

If the sound had just been better...

(1 out of 5) by Sergey Godunov on May 9, 2002 (Fairfax, VA)
Honestly, I expected much more from wireless headphones.
These headphones disappointed me so much that I had to
return the product back to the store the very next day.
Static interference occuring every 20 seconds was the only reason
why I didn't like them. Everything else was just ok.
The headset itself fit perfectly and was very convenient.
Overall - 1 star for bad reception.
Would recommend Panasonic RPHT 355 headphones for their 16.4 ft (5 m.) long cord. That's what I use now. ASIN: B00004TZJI

Pretty Decent with TV

(4 out of 5) by C. Fisher on Dec 30, 2004 (NM, USA)
Not sure about range - I go outside with them but can't go real far. Receiver is sitting on the tv. I've had them for some time. Only complaint I have is that the AAA Rechargeable batteries I have won't work in them. I haven't tried lithium batteries, but I plan to. For the price, they do a pretty good job.

Great pair no matter what anyone says

(5 out of 5) by Patrick Connelly on May 27, 2003 (Raleigh, NC)
I bought these headphones about six months ago and have had little to no problem with them. I mainly use them to listen to the TV at night. The tuner is a little touchy but it is not as dificult to use as some people say. You just need to remember that it is an electronic device that you cannot "man-handle." These headphones have pretty good batterylife and they stay tuned after turning them off. I read some reviews here and on other sites and was about to not buy them but I'm glad I did.
