Your neighbors will hate you...

Jul 31, 2001 - By Amazon Customer (Fargo, ND United States)

BASS. Lots of it. This box rocks the room. I threw in a couple of hip hop CDs and heard some low notes I didn't know existed. Even turned down (the subwoofers have a separate volume control), the low end rumbles. I had the volume at a soft listening level the other night and my neighbors were pounding on the wall. When you crank up the bass and the volume - stuff will start falling off the walls. For the cost of a good receiver, you get a complete, powerful shelf system. The CDs can be exchanged while another one plays, which is nice. The controls are easy to use. I can't find a single flaw with this system. And the speakers...when my friends come over they notice them right away. They're very unique for a shelf system, and look nasty. If you like to feel your music right through your breastbone, this is an awesome system to have.

I have the mxj900 that system rocks them subs had my whole house rocken an I thought there was no system out there to top mxj900 with 400 watts. So one day I was watching smackdown that's when I saw the mxgt90 so I went to sears an test it out that joker had my head ringing some people heard it in a another store they felt them subs 160 watts per channel 2 that mean 320 watts of subswoofers 70 watts per channel for the main speaker's 140 watts add them up you will get 460 watts total power so while you reading this I would be playing playstation 2 an listening to the mxgt90 peace!

SONICBOOM!!...

Apr 14, 2002 - By Amazon Customer

This JVC MX-GT90 is the real deal. At 460 watts of power this thing will blow out your windows. At a good price, this stereo rocks the world. NO, literally. Best sounding bass I have ever heard on a system that small. It comes along with live surround modes like d-club, stadium, hall etc. With the air that comes out of those tubes, It feels like air conditioning. If you don't like deep bass then get a smaller system. But if you like bass that will turn your room into a mess,(like me) get this system now. BELIEVE ME you won't regret it. It has so many feature along with a digital output so you can create a home theater system. Now this is my kind of system!...

THE ALIENS HAVE LANDED!!!

Jan 27, 2002 - By Amazon Customer

When I first unpacked the MX-GT90 GigaTube, I said: "WOW!" This thing looks like something from Space! I bought it over the internet, so I didn't realize just how BIG it is.

If you are looking for a nice, small, compact desk-top system, the JVC GigaTube is not the one for you. But if you want chest-thumping, gut-wrenching, teeth-rattling, great sounding DEEP BASS, and crisp clear Highs and Midrange, then look no further. Once you get over the shock of what this thing looks like, you will love GigaTube.

It has nice, bright, flashing lights to entertain you, and a very good easy to use remote control. Packs plenty of POWER to knock the paint off your walls! The only minor flaw I found is the noisy gear-grinding sound when the CD trays are switching, and when you rewind or fast forward cassettes. My father's old beat up '65 Chevy pick-up is quieter!

Buy it, you won't regret it. Sounds great! Beam me up Scotty!!!

EARTH QUAKE

Feb 3, 2002 - By trevor (Ont,Canada)

I own a SMALLER jvc system and i liked it, thats why i decided to continue with jvc and i dont regret it.My jvc is only 60 watts, single disc, thats why i decided to get a bigger one.
I saw the mxgt90 on tv and i decided to check in my local jvc dealer to test out that 460 watts of power. The store is not that big, but i decided to test it out. I cranked about at 25
(goes up to 30+) and the whole store was shaking and people from outside was looking by the windows to see from where that earth quake was coming from. Its the best sound i ever heard, BEST BASS TOO!
Now at my house, took me about 5 minutes to hook it up.I can FEEL the bass from my neighbors house.I also own a 2 12" onkyo speakers with a scott receiver. The mxgt90 sounds 2 times better and my other is about 5 times the price. For less then the price of my receiver, i have better sound and better and richer bass, and is more compact(not really compact). I think i could dry my hair with the air that comes out of does tubes. If u want the richest sound for a good price, MXGT90 all the way
