Missing critical feature

I was disappointed that their was no mute button for the speakerphone. As a home office user who participates in several conference calls a week, this feature was a must have. Unfortunately I could not determine this from the online graphics. I have since upgraded to the TRU3485, which includes a digital answering machine that I don't need, but at least I have the key features.

Great phone

After owning a Sony phone for a few years, I also decided to try a different brand. I have not been disappointed with the Uniden. The battery lasts for about 1 week before recharging is needed. Really don't use too many of the features except for the Caller ID! Very useful to screen out those pesky telemarketers!

Excellent Phone for excellent price

It is an excellent phone. The sound quality is great!
In addition using the memory to store numbers is very easy. You can by one click store numbres from the caller id feature. The phone itself is very comfortable size. Add the fact that you can dial and talk from the base and you can see why it is an excellent choice!

Less than a year after I bought it, the thing started cutting out while I was on the phone. The person on the other end of the line couldn't hear me. I sent it back for repair, they did something to it, sent it back to me..............same problem!
Excellent altho after a year + , some issues...

I have had this phone for quite a while and I am, in general, happy with my purchase. One issue that has come up over the last few months is that the buttons aren't as responsive as they used to be and sometimes need to be pushed more than once to *catch*...That said...
It has worked very well the entire time I have owned it. I have had very little difficulty with signal strength. What difficulty I have had I am fairly certain is due to needing a new battery (and that is true of all cordless phones not just this one). This isn't the first cordless I have owned but it is the best one with regards to being able to walk away from the base and not losing the call. I have left my house and walked the dog while still on the same call.
The call waiting caller ID is an excellent feature and very easy to read on this phone (not true of all phones). The caller in general is very easy to read becasue the LCD space is quite large. Very nice! There are many features on this phone that I really like. Many are available on other phones as well, they just seemed to work better on this one.
I do wish the flash button was bigger. It's one of the smaller buttons and I think it should be more prominent. But that is pretty minor. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and glad I made it. I *am* afriad that the button issue will cause me to have to replace this phone sooner than i would like but when I have to replace this phone, I will certainly look to this company again.
