user unfriendly

The camera seems to work ok but the software just freezes up most of the time andI have a terrible time getting the pictures. Not to mention the special effects, they just aren't what theyre cracked up to be. Now I cant even get tech support on it. the website ...wont even come up.

It's a very good camera but when it comes to......

Well, I like it but the only problem there is about it is the Red Eye, and that the batteries don't last a long time, but other then that this camera is good for a person who does Freelace and Focus Free Photography and a graphic designer Like myself. Since the red eye is bad I don't have to worry because I know how to fix it: but other then that it's a good camera.

Lack of Customer Support

(1 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Jan 25, 2002
I have purchased this camera as reconditioned. It comes with software for windows 98. I have windows NT. I have tried incessantly to find a customer service rep (in English) for assistance in obtaining the correct software. Information is only available on-line in spanish. The customercare phone number does not get answered.
The camera itself seems to be a nice one, but what good is it if you can't use it?

Sweet for the first timer

This was my first digital camera. And I love it! It's easy to use. And the software was definitly awesome. I had lots of fun with that. The pictures are pretty good quality, and overall, for the price, it's a great camera. However, you can only delete the last picture you took. Which means, if you took two pictures, and liked the last the picture you took, but not the first, you can't go back and delete the first picture, so it wastes space. But for a price like that, I'm definitly not complaining. It's a great camera, and I fully reccomend it to anyone who's a nervous first time buyer.

Easy to Use

Very easy to use & I like the automatic timer, but I wish it were more than 10 secs. The pictures do not come out too good unless you are really close to the object. They must remain still or the pictures come out blurry. The LCD Screen goes away after 5 secs of no activity, should be longer. I have on several occasions, had blue dots show up in the black areas of my picture. Was trying to load on a tripod & the camera slipped & the battery door broke. Basically, it is ok for stills (like portraits). If you have anything else in mind - you will be disappointed.
