I got this stereo for Christmas. I found the silver with purple hue very nice. It was easy to set up, and the sound was perfect! The only problem was the CD player switching CDs.And the first day I used it, the CD player skipped, and the tape deck to the left wasn't assembled right, so it kept popping out of it's "nest". I had to use the radio or the AUX with my Sony portable CD player. Usually Panasonic has better quality than this.

I got this stereo a few days ago.I ordered it because of the great price and looks.I have had many stereos in the past by various brands.I was using my sony boombox as my stereo for over five years.I finally found it time to upgrade.My cd player I used with my boombox was a Technics Brand made by Panasonic it was well built and has lasted me over ten years! It now is having the door sticking where you can hardly get the cd out. I went ahead with this system and im so glad I did.The radio tuner on it is excellent!I get all my fm stations in perfectly clear its amazing.No other stereo I had did that there was always some staic and noise.I went to the AM Tuner and wow once again clear reception Found a Classic Country music station that I never recieved before.For AM that usually has a bit of interference its awesome.Im even able to get in many Talk stations to wich is ver nice. The cd changer is a five disc changer!It also has MASH noise shaping technology wich means better sound.My Technics player had that to.It has many goodies not mentioned in the description I was very surprised.Well thats all hope this helps and happy listening. I really like it. I am not a young person who wants all specialties on my system. I like the looks, the sound, and the convient way to use it. It fits my purpose to hear the CDs, Radio, and cassetts to play and record.

I thought it sounded good ad it looks nice but the cd changer is a little slow.
