great racing wheel,go buy it now!!!
The thrustmaster pro digital 2 wheel has been one of the best wheels I've had for over a year now. I play my racing games with this wheel every night for hours and it has with stood the pressure I've put on the it day in and out. The pedals and wheel are easy to program, easy to operate and can take the pressure form on line racing I've put this wheel through. It has a great clamp that holds it into place(even when you are really getting into your game). I give this wheel a 4 rating,It would get a 5 but I feel that only one thing is a short fall for this wheel. This wheel has only one thing that I would like to see made just a little stronger, and this would be the gas and brake pedals. They are very good but after one year of very hard use,I've broken the pedals. I guess when you are into your game you don't realize the amount of force you use,so I've broken mine,BUT IT TOOK IT FOR ONE YEAR. Pro digital 2 wheel is what I'm buying again,it may break after a year but it is that good!!!

Decent wheel, but nothing outstanding
I recently purchased this wheel for my 12 year old nephew, and he is thoroughly delighted with the wheel. The only complaint I have is that by not being a force feedback design, it gives a totally dead feel for the user. It works great with the Need For Speed series of games, and also does well with the Sierra NASCAR Racing games.

Worse than the original.
I bought a Thrustmaster Nascar Pro Digital sometime in 1999. I really enjoyed the feel of the wheel, and pedals. After some computer trouble, I tried to re-install this wheel, but the software was faulty somehow. I finally gave up and bought this one (Pro Digital 2). This wheel did not work either. I eventually determined that the problem was with the computer, and ended up re-imaging the hard drive. After this, both wheels worked perfectly. The grip on the steering wheel was better on the orginal, but I like the new paddle shifter design. The overall product seems to be built more solidly, and I have had no trouble with either of these wheels thusfar. One minor detail: the clamps for tabletop mounting are not secured very well, and will occasionally fall apart (although it's an easy repair). Great product overall.

Great buy
I got this stirring wheel as a present to replace my old thurstmaster stirring wheel, which had lasted five years before breaking. The first time I used this I was amazed at the realistic feel given by the turn radius. My old one was terrible compared to this one. I drive on automatic and it is a big plus to have 8 buttons to set.
