Better then JVC or Sony models
(4 out of 5) by A. Gilman on Mar 7, 2005 (Los Angeles, CA)This is a good no frills changer. It is no longer made, I got mine on Ebay. It does change discs kinda slow, but the sound quality is good. Also this player doesn't seem to be as sensitive to scratched discs like the other models I have tried. ALso this player has a digital optical out and will show any CD text encoded on the discs.

200 disks + Kenwood + $200 = 1 year or reliability
(3 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Mar 1, 2002... Was great when I first got it. The only problem was that switching disks was a bit slow but I didn't really care. Played great for 15 months and then I noticed the left output was going out. 2 months after that the thing has stop playing CDs all together. Must [stuff] always stop working right after the warranty expires!
