Works Great for any CF application

(5 out of 5) by Quynh Vu on Jul 12, 2001 (Houston, TX United States)
I use this CF in my Canon S300. It works great. The speed is just as fast as the supplied 8mb Canon CF. I also use this CF as a portable disk drive to transfer large files from one computer to another. I haven't had any problems with this product. Plus the price is very reasonable.

Awesome Product, No Problems what so ever

(5 out of 5) by S. Arslanian on Jun 24, 2001 (Buena Park, Ca United States)
I bought this Viking compact flash card for my HP 315 Digital Camera. This card is amazing. Forget all the stuff people are saying about it being slow and all. I have an 8MB SanDisk Card, and the time it takes for the picture to be captured onto the flash card after you take a picture is the same. The price is incredibly reasonable. It's a fantastic price. In fact, that was one of the reasons I bought it,cuz let's face it,nobody wants to get ripped off. Just make sure your camera can support its size. I think for the most part all digital cameras made within the past year or so will support it. I also use this card for my Diva Mp3 player when I go running at the gym, and it works great. It's very convenient having a digital camera and mp3 player that use the same kind of card(compact flash). Because a lot of the mp3 players use SmartMedia Cards. This card is great for digital cameras. You'll never have to buy film when you go on vacations, just go digital. It can take 162 pictures on high quality, 324 on medium quality, and 999 on low quality. Enjoy this Viking compact flash card.

Solid product

This seemed like a big purchase at the time, almost one tenth of the cost of the camera itself. It was the best move I made since getting into digital photography.
There's nothing like having a "bottomless" well into which you can dump your pictures and along with a high capacity battery, significantly changed the way I not only took digital photographs but also my photography on the whole. I heartily recommend that every digital photographer get a good high capacity card and the Viking has proven itself to be a good quality, reliable product. My only regret is seeing how far the price has dropped in a little less than a year.

I got this for my Kodak DC 4800 digital camera. It is easy to use and provides enough memory for my picture taking for a trip.
